History of Us
In 2017, the Environmental & Sustainability Council was formed by President John Nicklow. The following year, the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Sustainability Circle was founded by students, faculty, and staff. In both cases, our university collectively recognized the need for more action on campus and volunteered our time to oversee new initiatives.
The Sustainability at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø website went live in early 2022!
In July 2022, the Sustainability Circle established Keep 51³Ô¹ÏÍø Beautiful, a university affiliate of Keep Louisiana Beautiful.
