Hi there!
My name is Mahnoor! As an admissions counselor, I am here to help students navigate one of the most exciting and transformative periods of their lives - college!
Being born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana, I knew the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø was the perfect choice for me, especially as a first-generation college student! With family roots in Pakistan, I spent part of my life there until I graduated high school. When it came to choosing a university, I knew I was looking for one that offered not only a high-quality education, but also a diverse and welcoming campus community. 51³Ô¹ÏÍø has been that place for me, offering endless opportunities for growth, learning, and connection.
I now genuinely love listening to students’ unique journeys to college. and look forward to hearing your story! Nice to meet you! Hope to see you around campus!

Hi there!
My name is Rozhai, and I was born and raised in New Orleans. My favorite part about 51³Ô¹ÏÍø is the number of resources the university provides for students to make a clean transition into the work field. 51³Ô¹ÏÍø has a beautiful scenery on campus, and an amazing diverse community of staff and students who makes the environment feel welcoming. As a graduate of 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, I would love to see incoming students learn, grow, and succeed as previous students such as myself have.

Greetings! I'm Tyelise Walton. I hail from the sunshine state, specifically Sanford, Florida. 51³Ô¹ÏÍø's Film Production program brought me to the Big Easy, but the beautiful scenery, rich culture, and amazing people are what's keeping me here. 51³Ô¹ÏÍø equips students with the necessary resources to strengthen their personal and professional development. Those resources helped me transition from being a graduate student worker to an admission counselor. I'm beyond grateful to attend this university and encourage students to experience it for themselves!

Hey y'all!
I'm Samantha! I'm originally from Pass Christian, Mississippi, and got my undergraduate degree from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas but I always knew I wanted to return to the coast. I love reading and writing and am currently pursuing my Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing here at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø. New Orleans holds a special place in my heart and I am so excited to work with y'all and tell you about all the wonderful things we have to offer!

Hello!
My name is LaTesha Gonzales and I have worked in International Education for the past 15 years. I am a native New Orleanian and although I have had amazing opportunities to travel and meet people from all over the world, the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø and the city of New Orleans will always be home for me. Aside from traveling, my hobbies include reading and practicing and teaching yoga. I also enjoy spending time with my two young children. I am here to facilitate and guide you through the application process and hopefully, meet you in person on campus!
