About
Dr. Hamed Ghahremani is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management and Marketing at the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø. He received his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management with a minor in Statistics from the University at Buffalo (SUNY). He also holds an MBA and a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
Hamed’s research focuses on the intersection of leadership, careers, and teams. His work has been published in leading journals, including Organizational Research Methods, Journal of Organizational Behavior, The Leadership Quarterly, and the Journal of Leadership and Organizational Studies. He is a recipient of the Greenleaf Scholar Award for his research on Servant Leadership and the Zedeck–Jacobs Opportunity Equity in Organizations Grant from the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP). He has also served as an ad hoc reviewer for journals such as the Journal of Organizational Behavior and Small Group Research.
At 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, Hamed teaches courses such as Leadership in Organizations and Human Resource Management. He incorporates experiential activities, simulations, and case studies to foster a dynamic and applied learning environment. He has received the Excellence in Teaching Award from the College of Business Administration at the 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, as well as the Dean’s Award for Excellence in Teaching as a Ph.D. student.
